Several cases of Varicella (Chicken Pox) has been reported in Clinton County. If you believe you child has varicella, please call your primary healthcare provider. Please do not enter a medical facility with a person who has suspected varicella without first calling for special instructions.
Varicella vaccination is recommended for all children, and required for children in childcare and school.

Clinics for children eligible to receive Flu-mist have been scheduled by the Health Department. These vaccinations are available at no cost to the patient due to Federal and State programs, though a $5 fee will be charged to cover the cost of administering the vaccine. Eligible persons must be between 2 and 18 years old, and have no underlying medical issues. Please see the Health Department homepage for further details.
The Flu Clinic Schedule for 2010 seasonal flu vaccinations has been added to the department website. Clinics are contingent on the Health Department receiving adequate supplies of vaccine. See the Health Department homepage for further information.
